To some it is a sport, however, picking mushrooms and eating them is a safe job, provided one recognizes the toxic types, properly identifies the species and stays with the most common edible ones. It is also important to know that picking mushrooms can provoke serious damages to the wood and that is why we kindly recommend taking notice of the following rules. They also help you to avoid possible fines.
Mushrooming is only possible on even days, from 7 am to 7 pm and only up to 1 kg per person can be picked. Minimum age required is 14 years. Special signposts indicate that mushroom hunting is totally forbidden in certain areas.
